Dumpster rental in Cape Coral
Cape Coral's regular trash, recycling, yard waste and bulk items go out on the same day with Waste Pro, the city's contractor. Some of what a home project leaves behind can't go that way, and that's where a rented roll-off comes in.
Phone hours: Monday–Saturday 8 a.m.–8 p.m. and Sunday 8 a.m.–1 p.m., Eastern time

The Kismet Parkway site won't take construction debris
The city's bulk waste drop-off site at the North Cape Government Complex, 1200 Kismet Parkway (entrance off NW 14th Avenue), takes furniture, mattresses, carpet, tires and appliances from homeowners, Tuesday through Saturday.
It does not take construction debris, even when a homeowner made it. That rules out drywall, lumber, roofing, concrete, block, dirt, rock, stumps and big logs. The city also keeps no list of other drop-off sites for that material. A container is the usual answer for a remodel, a new floor or a torn-out patio.
Leaving the house? Move-outs are separate
According to the city's collection reminders, a move-out is not part of standard bulk pickup. It has to be scheduled, and a fee may apply. Regular bulk items go within three feet of the road and shouldn't be stacked.
If a whole house of furniture is going, compare that fee with a rental. The moving guide has a simple timeline.
Hired a fence, tree or remodel crew?
City Code 9-18 makes tree surgeons, fence companies, landscapers and anyone else working on private property responsible for removing their own residue. They can't leave it for Waste Pro. Check whether hauling is in the quote before you rent a container for a crew's debris.
Canal lots and driveways
Many Cape Coral homes back onto a canal, so the driveway is the only good spot for a container. Measure it before you call: the truck needs room in front to tilt its rails and slide the container off.
Keep the container off the grass swale by the road, which carries rainwater. The placement guide covers boards and clearance.

Paint and pool chemicals
Cape Coral holds bulk and household chemical drop-off events twice a year. The next one listed is 1 May 2027, 7 to 11 a.m., across from City Hall at 1020 Cultural Park Boulevard. In between, chemicals go to the county's Topaz Court facility in Fort Myers.
