FAQ
Dumpster rental questions
Short answers to the questions people ask most. X
Do I need to be home for delivery?
Not always. If the spot is marked and the driveway is clear, many companies drop off without anyone present. Agree on it during the call.
How long can I keep a dumpster?
Rental periods vary by company. A week is common, and extra days are usually available for a daily charge.
Can I move the container myself?
No. A loaded or empty roll-off needs the truck. Ask the company if it has to be moved.
What if it rains into the container?
Rainwater adds weight, and Southwest Florida summer afternoons can add a lot. Cover the load with a tarp when you stop for the day.
Can neighbors throw things in?
They can if it's open. Load the bottom first, keep the rear door closed and ask the company whether a lid or cover is available.
Do you serve Cape Coral and Lehigh Acres?
Yes. The service area page lists the places covered.
Is there a minimum rental?
That depends on the company. Most quote a base period of several days.
Can I book a porta potty with the same call?
Yes. Say so when you call. There's more on the porta potty page.
How full can I load it?
Up to the top edge of the sides, and no higher. Heavy debris may have a lower fill line marked inside.
Does this website handle insurance claims?
No. The rental company rents and hauls containers. Insurance is between you and your insurer.
